My favorite Tapas Bars near the Cathedral in Seville

A lot of bars in Seville are moving away from tapas to raciones, which is dumb but whatever I guess they think they will earn more money that way. Also many bars are owned by a few hospitality groups which sort of flattens the tapas experience in svq imho.

Here is a list of my favorite tapas bars in general Santa Cruz neighborhood area in Seville. As far as I know, all these places are independently owned and operated.

Taberna Picalagartos. Very near cathedral, my favorite bar of all time for the lovely interior alone, but also for good food and really great gin tonics.
C. Hernando Colón, 7, Casco Antiguo, 41004 Sevilla, Spain
Picalagartos has the strongest azulejo game in town

Dos Columnas* is iconic, the quintessential chaotic tapas bar with your tab kept in chalk on the bar in front of you. Also great views of cathdral if you manage to snag outdoor table. Underrated amazing breakfast enjoyed by tourist and tradesmen alike. C. Rodrigo Caro, 1, Casco Antiguo, 41004 Sevilla, Spain (But actually just walk up C/Mateos Gagos from the Cathedral and you'll find it on the corner)

Cerveceria Internactional is also wonderful, they have only like three tapas (great ensaladilla and bratwurst and little montadito sandwiches) but lots of fun beers to try from all over world. C. Gamazo, 3, Casco Antiguo, 41001 Sevilla, Spain
Cervecería Internacional: for when you need something other than Cruzcampo

I also like (whispers) Five guys on Avenida de la Constitución right in front of the cathedral. It is just very good sometimes to eat american fast food made with european ingredients and stellar AC, what can i say?
Av. de la Constitución, 8, Casco Antiguo, 41004 Sevilla, Spain

*Yes, I know Dos Columnas is technically "Bodega Santa Cruz
'Las Columnas'" but literally nobody calls it that, thanks to the two columns outside the bar
