Fun Indoor Activities for Preschoolers in Seville: Centro Comercial Torre Sevilla
UPDATE: July 2025: I cannot recommend the Centro Comercial Torre Sevilla in the height of summer--there is NO air conditioning in the glass-lined open-air hallways and there is no cool place to sit indoors to escape the heat. It turns this shopping mall into an oven. JUST AWFUL. Avoid the Centro Comercial Torre Sevilla in the summer months.
In my on-going quest to find fun indoor activities for preschoolers in Seville, I present to you, the Centro Comercial Torre Sevilla.
If you're looking for a large indoor/outdoor space for your preschooler to run around in in Seville, check out the Central Comercial Torre Sevilla.
Where: Right over the (checks map) "Puente de la Expiración de Cristo" aka that bridge across the Guadalquivir that connects with the Plaza de Armas bus station. Plaza de Chapina bus stop.
Cost: Free
Logistics: It's a large indoor/outdoor shopping mall with NO air-conditioning in summer in public spaces. It has everything a guiri's heart desires: outdoor patio with starbucks, a food court with Burger King, luxurious bathrooms with plenty of toilet paper and soap, an outdoor playground space for kids, and fast fashion stores.
You can also go up to the Torre Sevilla to have a nice panoramic view of the city. (I assume. We didn't make it up that far, the mall contained enough delights.)
Notes: there are clear glass walls that are good for letting in light, and little bridges connecting the sides of the mall. There are elevators, but your preschooler will definitely want to take the escalators. On the second floor, there is a great toy store. If the mall isn't enough fun, the Museo de la Navegacion is right across the street.
Fun for Preschoolers rating: 0/10 recommend in the summer. Way too hot. Ironically, Calle Sierpes in the downtown has better AC bc the street is narrow, covered by shade, and the shops blast the AC. If it's raining, then this is a good option.
